York, PA -- October 16, 1997 -- One year ago, Addison Viener was born and quickly became known as the first baby on the Internet. Since his birth, the web site which displays live images from the crib every 30 seconds has been viewed over 290,000 times. Now, one year later, Addison is celebrating his first birthday and everyone on the Internet is invited! On Sunday, October 19th everyone will be able to tune into Addison's 1st Birthday Party live on the Internet. The web site address is http://www.viener.com.
"It's amazing how many people outside our immediate family still tune in to see Addison on the Internet." Says Sara and Adam Viener, Addison's parents. "A special note of thanks has to go out to everyone who has sent us email and to Mrs. Hanson's class in Seattle who have been watching Addison grow since the site went live."
The CribCam is setup in the Viener's home, and takes live pictures of the crib every 30 seconds. The Viener's have been putting up digital photos online of Addison throughout the past year as well as pictorial journals of Addison's first trips to the beach and to Wisconsin.
