Our History:
Cyberia Communications began as a six-line Bulletin Board System run out of the home of Adam and Sara Viener. With a focus on making the online world easy and fun, Cyberia provided a community for people to meet, gather news, play games, and voice their opinions. Adam and Sara worked with groups such as the Martin Memorial Library, the City of York, the Arc of York County, Springettsbury Township, and the Chamber of Commerce to develop a York Community zone where people could access these agencies for free. The BBS enjoyed rapid growth and attracted a great deal of media coverage. In a 1994 Boardwatch Magazine contest, Cyberia's BBS was named as one of the top 50 BBS's in the country.

In 1995 Cyberia jumped headfirst into the Internet. Tony Pantano joined as a partner to help grow the business and develop new network and server strategies. Together they moved Cyberia out of the Viener's home and into an office space in the Chamber of Commerce building in downtown York.

The Internet side of the business also enjoyed tremendous growth. The "full service" nature of Cyberia's Internet accounts appealed to experienced computer users and new users alike. Our reputation grew as a place where people could come to receive professional service, competent technical support, and a fast, reliable connection. Cyberia continues to cater to businesses, offering consulting, on-site training and Web site design services.

Cyberia has been recognized a number of times including being named Start Up Company of the Year by the Pennsylvania Technology Council in 1996, and was one of ten finalists in the York Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the year in 1997.

Today Cyberia offers a wide range of Internet services for businesses, organizations, and individuals. The company continues to grow and forge into new technologies. Our commitment to customer service and support remains our focus as we move into the future.
