Cyberia and the World Wide Web are Helping The York Daily Record and York County through the Blizzard of '96
York, PA -- January 8, 1996 -- Cyberia Communications, Inc., announced today that they will help the York Daily Record publish news about the blizzard on the World Wide Web. This latest storm to hit York county, has prompted Governor Ridge to declare a state of emergency and invoke a ban on driving for many counties in Pennsylvania. Instead of completely abandoning the publication of their January, 8th & 9th editions, The York Daily Record has decided to work on publishing their information on-line.
Cyberia has been developing a home page for the Daily Record and has activated it starting today. The York Digital Record, as it is called is available at http://www.ydr.com.
"The Blizzard of 1996 may be raging outside, but in Cyberspace the roads are always plowed." says Adam J. Viener, President of Cyberia Communications, Inc. "We are looking forward to helping the Daily Record publish their news on the Information Superhighway."
