With the release of Windows 95 , many people have been curious about its
internal Internet connectivity. When Microsoft decided to leave the
Internet Set-up wizard out of the final version of Windows 95 they received
many negative comments. The Internet Setup wizard enables a Windows 95
customer to configure the internal Windows Internet connection for a
service provider, other than the Microsoft Network. The omission of this
portion of the software and the subsequent negative press has prompted
Microsoft to begin including this with its Windows 95 software.
The use of the Windows 95 internal Internet dialer allows Windows 95
customers to use 32-bit Internet applications. While there are currently
only a few 32-bit Internet applications, many software developers are
moving quickly to provide 32-bit versions of their software.
At Cyberia Communications, we have just released our new "Easy Internet
Tools for Windows 95" software. Like our current Windows and Macintosh
software, the new Windows 95 version enables Windows 95 customers to
quickly and easily configure their system for use with the Internet. The
package includes, Netscape Navigator (32-bit), Eudora Email, FTP (32-bit),
Gopher, PowWow, CommNet, WinVN (32-bit), and IRC. The package will also
run the Internet Setup wizard for you and guide you through the
configuration of your system for use with Cyberia's Internet service.
Customers will now be able to quickly and easily setup Windows 95 for
Internet use and as always Cyberia's friendly staff is available for free
technical support.
