As a Cyberia customer, you have the opportunity to design your very own Web site! You can use it to show off your family, talk about yourself or vent your political views. For some examples of what our customer have been doing with their personal pages, visit www.cyberia.com and click on the local pages option.

Getting Started
Customers can register for their free personal Web site at http://www.cyberia.com/ppages.htm. Read the Rules & Conditions for Personal Pages. Fill out the Registration Form at the bottom of the page and click on the "I Agree" button.

In approximately one business day you will receive email telling you that your free storage space has been set up.

Designing Your Web site
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is the language in which all Web sites are written. Learning HTML can be a little tricky. Cyberia has setup an online tutorial with tips to design your Web site, and links to the tools available online to make designing your site a breeze:

Your main page should be named index.htm, and all other pages you wish to have linked to your site should be linked from there.

Uploading & Updating
After you have created the html files for your Web site, you will need to upload them into your personal Webspace on Cyberia's server. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the program that will allow you to make the transfer. Customers with Cyberia's easy Internet tools package can double click on the FTP Icon and follow the following steps:

1. Click on the New button.
2. Fill out the new session profile window to match the picture below. Be sure to replace YourLoginName with your actual Cyberia login name.
3. Click on the Save button.
4. Click on the OK button to login.

Once you are connected to the Web server, follow these steps:

1. Click on the file on the left side of the window that you want to upload.
2. Click on the arrow in the middle of the screen which points from left to right.

The files you select will be uploaded into your Web space. Your page is now live and anyone can visit your site by going to:

http://www.cyberia.com/pages/(your account name)
